    Job Title: Distribution Lead

    1st Shift:  7:30 AM - 3:30 PM with overtime as scheduled.


    The Distribution Lead is responsible for executing a variety of distribution and inventory functions as pertains to the shift operational functions. Employee must work all assigned hours and may also be required to perform other duties as directed by the supervisor and/or group leader.





    Specific Job Duties

    • Additionally, will serve as leader of a portion of a shift's staff in performing such roles as assessing daily workloads, making/coordinating rotation of daily assignments for team members, conducting team meetings, devising/completion of daily team sheets, assisting in training, and resolving receiving, putaway, inventory issues. This position will also be expected to perform all functions of lower job grades as necessary or assigned.
    • Will operate powered material moving equipment as needed and maintain appropriate certifications for use.
    • Additionally, perform such roles as assessing daily workloads, making/coordinating rotation of daily assignments for team members, conducting team meetings, devising and completion of daily team sheets, and assist in training.
    • Maintain up to date Trainer qualifications.
    • Follow prioritized assignments, providing customer service support and ensure the completion of order fulfillment (picking, packing, manifesting, ), maintain inventory through putaway, breakdowns, replenishment, and cycle count in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding productivity and quality standards.
    • Cabinet building- perform physical picking, receiving, building, packing, and shipping of fitset kits according to SOPs and as prioritized. Must meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
    • Work area cleaning -Clean assigned work area on a daily basis including sweeping, dusting, trash/box disposal, general straightening, etc.
    • Error Review- as necessary, perform review and correction of unfulfilled orders having discrepancies to record and assign any errors.
    • Maintain training up-to date and compliant with all site and Quality requirements specific to the job.
    • Coordinate with Shift Supervisor or Group Leader a training schedule for all trainees and conduct on-the-job training according to Standard Operating Procedures in all areas in which considered the SME.
    • Evaluate the trainee and ensure the trainee is competent to perform job tasks according to SOPs and within all safety guidelines.


    Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent education.


    Experience: 6 months as a Distribution Associate or equivalent, Power equipment experience preferred, Training experience.  


    Scope: Basic PC knowledge, working knowledge of MS Office, WMS experience and familiarization with RFT Technology and supply chain operations. Desire continuous improvement concepts and team building skills. Must have working knowledge of MS Excel.
