    Responsible for providing a high quality and diverse range of services and support to the legal department.   Facilitate a level of excellence throughout the Bausch Health Legal department, acting as a key liaison between Legal and the Business, as the Legal department continues to partner with the business on key initiatives for the overall success of the organization.  We are seeking an individual with the utmost degree of professionalism and integrity, capable of handling highly sensitive and confidential matters, and with an industrious and self-motivated approach.  Comfortable providing complex and sophisticated paralegal support as well as administrative functions for legal executives.


    • Engage in all the legal support process:
    • Perform administrative duties necessary for the efficient and excellent operation of the legal function
    • review and respond to inquiries / requests from internal and external customers
    • maintain document/electronic files, including matter management and legal billing issues
    • manage calendars by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
    • maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
    • Assist with management of  litigation and discovery
      • Coordinate with counsel and e-discovery vendors. 
      • Assist with generation of Request For Information (RFIs) for law firm bidding process, law firm engagement, budget tracking and generation and working with firms on ensuring that all budgets, case assessments and status updates are current.
    • Integral role on the team with re: to management of budgets and legal spend
    • Act as a point of contact for both in-house and outside counsel and comfortable with senior executives
    • Perform all duties in a professional and efficient manner, while maintaining
      confidentiality and adhering to applicable ethics requirements
    • Assist with departmental/functional budgeting responsibilities
    • Perform other duties as assigned


    • Strong communication, inter-personal, and PC skills are essential
    • Must be detail oriented and demonstrate excellent organizational skills
    • Strong sense of ownership and responsibility, and a strong work ethic focused on providing excellent customer service; demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
    • Able to work independently and under time constraints
    • Focused on needs of internal customer 
    • Experience with electronic legal billing, matter management, legal hold and contract management systems a plus.  Advanced Microsoft Office (including Excel) capabilities/knowledge
    • 5+ years of paralegal experience highly desirable
    • Proven excellence conducting executive administrative responsibilities as appropriate and required.
    • Experience with discovery in state and federal courts ideal
    • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification preferred, high school diploma required
