    Overview:

    The Manager, Sales Operations and Sales Force Effectiveness will be responsible for the operational support to the Bausch + Lomb Vision Care field sales team. This person will manage day-to-day Vision Care support including, but not limited to onboarding, daily field communications, salesforce.com reporting/management, execution tracking, and analytical support.

     

    The candidate needs to have the ability to maintain current procedures as well as identify process improvements in support of the Vision Care Sales Force Effectiveness. They are expected to maintain an in depth knowledge of the business, the customers, and competition. The ideal candidate will work cross functionally as needed to assist in commercial support of Bausch + Lomb’s Vision Care business objectives by developing a close working relationship with all functional stakeholders (includes Marketing, Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Training, and IT). This individual will report directly to the Director of Sales Operations & Analytics and will be based in Bridgewater, NJ with some occasional domestic travel.

     

     

    Responsibilities

     

    • Properly addresses all field-related support and inquiries in an efficient and effective manner in support of the field sales team.
    • Lead the development and execution of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) strategy for the US Vision Care business including but not limited to planning, sales team communication, analysis & execution tracking.
    • Identify core process areas for improvement, create metrics, goals and resource plans to achieve objectives.
    • Drive projects and accountability of key initiatives to reach overall SFE objectives.
    • Play a key role between marketing and sales organizations with regards to development and execution of programs, both doctor and consumer focused.
    • Coordinate with finance and business analytics teams to assess effectiveness of marketing programs and achievement of desired Return on Investment (ROI).

    Qualifications

    • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience required.
    • Minimum 3 years of Sales Operations experience OR minimum 2 years of contact lens sales experience required.
    • Advanced experience with Salesforce.com required.
    • Advanced experience in MS Excel required.
    • PeopleSoft and QlikView experience preferred.
    • Outstanding organizational capabilities and communication skill.
    • Previous role in a Selling organization preferred.
    • Capacity to excel in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to translate business opportunities into working solutions.
    • Strong technical knowledge of MS Access or SQL and related software packages. Alternatively, thorough demonstration of advanced skills.
    • Some occasional domestic travel required (5-10%).
