  • Overview

The Editor Role will be responsible for checking to ensure that the comments and changes of Legal, Medical and Regulatory have been implemented into all Rx Promotional Materials by either Project Managers or Agencies after each piece has been submitted through the Bausch Health PRC process.  The Editor function will be the final approver for each piece and responsible for certifying that all changes have been made before its date of first use (for both internally and externally used pieces).

    Responsibilities

    • The Editor will cover several Rx Business Units across the Bausch Health company and be the last stop in the process for both internal and external pieces. Pieces range from internal sales training to external Marketing promotional materials.
    • The Editor will check to ensure that all comments and changes from Legal, Medical and Regulatory have been implemented into all pieces and will be responsible for certifying that changes have been made and being the final approver.
    • The Editor will need to have strong relationship building and collaboration skills. Main interaction will be building relationships with the PRC leads (who manage the day to day PRC process across all Business Units).
    • Become extremely familiar with the Rx PRC process across all Business Units so that you can effectively interpret PRC comments/changes to ensure that they were properly implemented. For the first several months, attend as many Rx PRC meetings as possible.
    • Work very closely with both the PRC reviewers and PRC leads to advise and teach them what “good comments” look like so that you can most effectively move pieces to “Approved for Distribution” status.  This should be an ongoing exercise to ensure that reviewers (especially as new are onboarded) are being consistent with detailed and clear directional comments.
    • The Editor role will be responsible for working independently to manage and prioritize the finalization of jobs based upon business timelines and need for use of Marketing materials.
