Production Associate II
Setup, maintain and operate production line equipment to produce intraocular lenses according to production specifications and standards.
Setup and maintain lathing and milling equipment associated with IOL production. This includes daily checks/calibrations, lot setup and verification and tooling changes.
Perform inspections to verify accuracy of machining against specifications to maintain quality and performance standards using set up equipment.
Conduct initial troubleshooting for defect causes and machine problems . Make minor mechanical repairs as required to maintain production specifications and standards.
Perform manufacturing operations as necessary to maintain production throughput.
Assume leadership role for equipment you are responsible for.
Report unusual conditions and problems to supervisor and practice good housekeeping. Support, encourage and participate in team related activities; report ideas or suggestions to supervisor.
In addition to the listed duties, the associate is normally expected to perform other similar related duties as assigned.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Effective communication skills needed to provide clear and concise communication.
GMP and ISO training.
A minimum of 1 or more years' experience with lathes/milling machines
Lathing experience including setup and tool changes preferred, good organizational skills a must.
