Drive departmental initiatives, changes, and process improvements. Work cross functionally with Maintenance, Facilities, Utilities, and Calibration to develop, lead, and implement capital projects as assigned.
Lead and/or support cross functional related Non-Conformance Report (NCR) investigations and recommend corrective actions to assure improved equipment reliability and to prevent reoccurrence of non-conforming events. Lead a cross functional team through the investigation process. Lead and/or support Root Cause (RC) / Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) efforts.
Lead the Facility Review Board (FRB) weekly walkthroughs. Assure that all action items are scheduled and completed in a timely manner. Track any FRB action items that are scheduled for shutdown to completion.
Assist in the review and modification departmental documentation including but not limited to SOP's, WI's, and PM's. Support department goals and objectives during planned Shutdowns.
Assist in the long-range capital planning of facility equipment replacement and upgrades. Assist in the development of annual capital and departmental budgets.

Supervise production personnel in production work flow and effective utilization of equipment, material, and labor resources in the Surgical Equipment manufacturing areas.

Create Customer loyalty by defining the customer base; understanding customer requirements, expectations and needs; providing value for the customer and seeking feedback from the customer. Manage the Customer relationship by delivering on customer commitments; ensuring exceptional customer experience; recovering from mistakes; removing barriers; building a network of relationships; measuring performance and managing all aspects of service and communication to achieve these identified results.

1st shift Position Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30PM.
Perform facility repairs and maintain production equipment while performing mechanical and electrical repairs; process work orders.

Perform plumbing duties, as required, to install and repair air, gas, nitrogen, steam, water lines, fire protection etc., including conformance to specification and applicable codes.
