Responsible for all purchases, both direct and indirect for the St. Louis or O'Fallon manufacturing facilities and External Manufactured products distributed out of Lynchburg, VA. Manage components from new product development through discontinuation of product, including cost, delivery, inventory and payment. Participate in cross-functional teams to represent Procurement function. Manage supplier relationships to drive quality and total cost of acquisition.

This is a 2nd shift position (3:00PM-11:30pm) with overtime required per business need.
Job requires at least 5 years of packaging or non-sterile/aseptic filling experience. The job functions and responsibilities include proficient operation of filling equipment, including bottle unscramblers, tippers, cappers, conveyance systems, line and equipment cleaning, line clearances, component transfer, line/room disinfection, equipment set up and tear down, equipment troubleshooting, and proper documentation practices. Ability to operate all ointment lines and solution lines. This position requires aseptic gowning certification and line clearance certification. Maintain training requirements including SOP, EHS, and HR. Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area. Attend and participate in Lean Improvement initiatives such as reducing costs & OEE initiatives. Responsible for maintaining Quality, OEE, Material Variance and Scrap goals.
Provides input in signal identification & evaluation
Provides Medical review of aggregate reports (PSUR, PADER, PBRER)
Prepares & reviews DSURs for timely submission to the regulatory authorities
Active participation & input in preparation of the REMS for USA products
Provides assistance in RMPs as needed
Provided medical review of ICSR including causality assessment
Reviews safety information on Labels via ELM
Provides safety input on protocols, CSRs, IB and informed consent
Provides medical input on AE, Conmed, Medical history listings including SAE reconciliation
Prepares Health hazard evaluation for post marketed products
Maintains the database (Ag balance)
Job Title: Distribution Associate I
Hours: Hours are 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Mon-Fri / Over Time as scheduled
The Distribution Associate I is responsible for performing the following:
As directed by the supervisor and/or group leader perform functions to fulfill orders for shipment to customers.
This may include but is not limited to customer service support, replenishment, cycle counting, picking, packing, and manifesting.
Employee may be trained in any or all of the required disciplines depending on business needs.
Employee must work all assigned hours and may also be required to perform other duties as directed by the supervisor and or group leader.
This is a 1st shift filling position (7:00am-3:30pm) with overtime required per business need.
This position is an entry level position in the aseptic filling operation. The job functions and responsibilities include basic proficient operation of filling equipment, including bottle unscramblers, tippers, cappers, conveyance systems, line and equipment cleaning, line clearances, component transfer, line/room disinfection, and proper documentation practices. Ability to operate at least one ointment line and one solution line. This position requires aseptic gowning certification and line clearance certification. Maintain training requirements including SOP, EHS, and HR. Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area. Plan and manage/coordinate resources and activities related to ophthalmic medical device product development projects throughout Surgical R&D using the global PDP (Product Development Process), allied systems and tools.
